sorry guys my e mail got hacked they stole my contacts so i couldn't respond back out we are fine the e mail read we are stuck in the phillipines need money please deisregard this we are fine over the years i have met many a fine archer/bowhunter on this site and apologize for whatever the content was in this e mail since basically i could'nt respond back i hope the mods will leave this here awhile until i can clear it up thnx Ralph

I was in a treestand two years ago and checked e-mail (I know). I had an e-mail from a friend who supposedly had his pocket picked in England. The note said he needed $400 to get home. I called my wife and told her to get ready to send the money.

After a few moments I began to have second thoughts and told her to wait. I called the friend and ....yep, this same kind of hacking of his computer had occurred.

Thnx we are fine I really hope no one falls for this

I deleted my e mail account as they stole all my contacts hope all they get is a hard time wish there was someway to prosecute them

Same thing happened to us yesterday with my nephew, except it was a phone call.

I received the email also.  No worries Ralph.  I have seen this before, and thought is was a scam.  Glad all is well.

I had the same thing happen over the summer, got the email and replied to it and they even replied back. I looked at it a little closer and luckily I did because it was a scam!

Internet is a wonderous thing...it brought us Trad Gang!!!  

But like anything good, it can be used for evil...and is.

Thanks to mods to help our "family" not get taken and become more savvy of these type scams!

So you mean you didn't receive the $1000 I sent to the Philippines so you could pay your hotel bill!

I wrote you an email asking what kind of bow the first bow you got from me was. When I got no response I figured it was a scam. Sides I just could not see you standing there with tears in your eyes. It broked my little heart Bro. LOL.
