This is just not in our country. There are prominent members here from Australia. They have lost all automatics and are now about to lose single shot and bolt actions as well.
Around here this anti gun propaganda has motivated the anti hunting people to once again press their opinions, this does affect traditional bowhunting especially. No one is easier to push around than the little guy, right now it is legal for me to shoot my bow in my back yard. If these women push the right political buttons, I will lose that.

I respect and appreciate that this site stays focused on trad bow hunting and keeps the fuss you can have over other things politics out. But this is not about guns or politics. This is about freedom, rights, and what this country is founded on, and those things are very trad!

There are international forces driving the gun ban. The declared national debt, most of which is to China, and our natural resources play a big part to it all. The Chinese refer to our president as the monkey man, they train monkeys to do puppet acts. I have researched hundreds of articles and white papers. There is complicity even in the military, it has been leaked by a General that the litmus test question is "will you fire on American citizens?" We are headed for very dark times.

I could not agree more! I am afraid the time has come for us to draw a line in the sand and it is refreshing and encouraging to me that people like Gene and Barry have chosen to do so.

I agree with you TRB. I live around a lot of liberal thinking individuals. They think I am being unreasonable when I protest against the proposed new gun laws. Many even point out how I don't even hunt with guns. I always tell them that they would not stop with "assault rifles" if they had their way. Some think I am being extreme but I truly believe our current president would certainly disarm us if he thought he could pull it off.

by the way just as a heads up to you guys. I'm in the firearms industry so I see alot of the behind the scenes crap that goes down. Bank Of America has started refusing loans to people in firearms based businesses and GEICO insurance has just recently started canceling company policies for the same type of businesses.

We hunt with bows because we CHOOSE to. What kind of place would this country be if we lost our ability to choose.
