Do the Simmons Tree Shark make noise in flight with helical fletch like many vented broadheads do?

i'm not gonna let anybody shoot one close enough to my head that i could hear it anyway.   :nono:

Mine didnt have time to make noise, all I heard was the crunch as it entered that deer....

I HAVE NEVER SHOT A SIMMONS.

I've shot a lot of different broadheads over the years. Both with compounds and trad bows.

I have NEVER found a silent vented head....NEVER
I have pretty darn good ears.

Not saying the simmon's vented heads might not be an exception.

I'll bet money that the solid heads are darn quiet if not silent though.

I'll be watching what type of answers you get here.

Sometimes, you may hear a little "Whoosh!" as they let the air out of a deer...

I use 135 Tiger glue on's ... I have tape over the vents for a reason  :) . I too have the non vented and they are very quite.

They may not but I bet the hogs that get hit with them  do.

I can't hear them, animals might be able to detect something, but by then they are running away with a gash thru them on their final run. Silent death! Those broadheads are absolutely wicked

But to answer your question, at hunting distances I don't believe they make noise, nor have I ever seen an animal react due to them. Just my PERSONAL opinion, take it for what it is! Get some for yourself to try out, best answer is hands on research imo

I have heard a distinctive grunt on impact followed by a lot of thrashing around.

Well, there is alot of no's but I will have to say yes to this thread, I bought them 2 seasons ago, and they have never entered the woods, I practiced with them in different positions still made a hissing sound due to the air going over the holes for the bleeder blades, switched to the solid bladed interceptor and deadly silent and what a hole they leave.

I shoot the 160 gr.Havent herd any noise.(exept when the wife finds out I need to by more). The price of things is getting out of hand.

durp

if you have ever had an arrow fly by close to ya you would say they all make noise...dont think it's all broadhead noise...the whole arrow makes noise, even with field points.
