Past few days cleaning up and rearranging the shop, I figured it was time to clean up and store away 2 of my most popular bows.

These bows have withstood the test of time and I just love the way they feel and shoot. So, wiped them down and rested them on the bow rack. Hopefully after this shoulder surgery, I'll be able to handle the weights.

Best of luck with the shoulder.....do the rehab and you'll be back in no time!!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Joe,

As you've read here dozens of times by others in that same shoulder boat...Do ONLY what they tell you and persevere with all they tell you to do!

Nothing more. Nothing less.  You will be fine. the mind is the worst bedevilment taunting you to "just try it a little"...DON'T!!!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

I've got a Cobra 1 as well. Great little bows. Only recurve I have left, except my bowfishing rig. I may break it out this spring turkey season.
Good luck with the shoulder, play easy at first so you don't over do it.

LA Trapper

Hang in there Joe and good luck with the surgery.

Hey Joe

I hope all goes well and you are back shooting ASAP. Don't be stubborn and just listen to the Dr's orders. If you need anything I'm sure Stiff Rod and I won't mind driving up to see ya. Like Mitch said above, Keep in touch.

Good luck on the shoulder surgery. I had two surgery's on my left shoulder for a torn labrum and an anchor that pulled loose.I talked to my physical therapist and when things started getting better after the second one,he set me up with a program to get me back into archery sooner.

Hey Joe, Good luck with the shoulder surgery. If you need someone to kep your bows in shape and shoot them while you're recovering you can count on me ole pal...  :biglaugh:
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Cyclic-Rivers

Good luck Joe.  I write this from New Paltz maybe next time I will be able to come over.

Hope the surgery goes well!
Relax,

You'll live longer!

OK...here at work...just checked my Photobucket and all my images are 640/480....I have no clue why they were larger when I posted them here. I will recheck...and try to repost with smaller images. Sorry for any inconvenience.
