almost finished with ma home made red oak bad boys' bunny bustin board bow, which im plannin to used on some blacktail jacks this weekend, pics comin as soon as camera is charged, i'm gonna need some tiller judges here,

in the meanwhile has anyone else made themsleves a red oak board bow??

any pics??

I made my first one back in July following The Ferret's instructions.  I hope to take a deer with it this year.

Dead Pool, Jawge's website has LOT'S of great info on building board bows. I built my first from Jawge's site.

The Ferret's site is also a great place to get info from.

And these are just two great sites, there are plenty others covering everything you can possibly  think of, in relation to trad archery.

Deadpool here it is.    Jawges site  I referred to that site and ferrets(as well as others) quite a bit when I was starting out.Still do sometimes to see if there's anything new.  

Shakes, if you get the boo really thin(like 1/16" or so) it won't hurt anything. It would still be a good idea to use the densest red oak you got though.
