Hey Damon,  I know right after it all happened he told me that he may have caught Cade's shot on the Gopro, but he had to check when he got home.  Late in the hunt the batteries died.

Haven't heard from him yet how the camera did

How flipping cool for Cade!!  Awesome bro! However. I think all of you piling up into the bed of the truck. Has got to be some kind of traffic violation   :biglaugh:
But I guess you could make the argument with a still shot that the truck was parked!
Congrats to Cade again!!

Ok, bear with me guys. This is my first hunt story ever.

I had already had 2 shots on the first push and felt good about the spot I was in. I had been there last year and had a few shots.

Within 5 minutes of standing I heard "BUNNY!" and it was close. Then I saw it running full speed parallel to me. I shot... CRACK! I hit a tree.

I quickly gathered my wits and nocked another arrow. It wasn't long before I heard "BUNNY!", but it didn't sound close. Before I knew it I heard a yell of victory. It sounded like my dad's voice?

I didn't have time to wonder about it because before I knew it I saw a bunny just fly by. I managed to get one shot off, but it had missed.

To Be Continued...

Ok where was I...

After I retrieved my arrows I got back to my spot, where I had shots in every direction. It wasn't long before I heard it again..."BUNNY!" This time it sounded close.

After missing about 4 times including the push before, I knew I should get back, hold for a second, and let it rip. I missed. Very soon after I saw Mr. Matt (Homer) draw back and shoot. I didn't know if he had hit the rabbit or not, but I saw one run right between us and into a big pile of brush.

I thought I wouldn't get another shot because I could make out the pushers now, but I was still ready. Then I heard Mr. Matt (Homer) say that he was going to push the bunny that I had seen earlier go into the pile of brush.

He made us wait a while though, but I knew it was for the good because we were now surrounding the pile. I heard 1 2 3, then he pushed it out. When  I saw it I drew back, held for a second, and let it rip. THUMP, I hit it! It tried to run, but Timmy K. had an arrow on the way and pinned it to the ground. We picked it up and walked into the open for pictures. My dad had shot one as well! Without knowing it I saw that Shawn had killed one too!

I must say thank you to Shawn for inviting us into his home and taking us for a great hunt. Thank you to Timmy K. also for getting that bunny down and finishing it off for me.

                             It was a blast!

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Whoa Curt.....that is one heck of rabbit line up!     That little bunny of Cade's didn't run too far with that perfect shot!  Nice!  :D
