Ok gang,
I was wanting to play around with some new arrows to see about performance with my Misty Dawn so I got some 1916s to tune up.  The charts put me at 29" 125 up front, and it is a touch weak , but with 100 grains they fly perfect. I screwed on a 115 Bear razor head (no bleeder) and they are flying great.   I can cut them down and get it to where i can shoot 125 (preferred) but since I already have good flight here and I have a lot of razor heads I'm thinking of keeping it here.

all ill be hunting with this bow is deer, turkey and a plethora of small game.  Do you think this is enough?

bow is drawing 48.5 at my draw.

125 gr heads were and are around for a reason, they kill stuff as long as they are sharp and placed in the hot spot.

I thought so but was unsure. I'll be using 100 gr FP And 115 2 blades. My vixen shoots my 2117s so if I need an arrow for hogs I'll bring it

Yeah go for it, remember it is about sharp broadheads and shot placement. Broadside or quartering away or let them walk. Tomorrow is another day

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Can't See myself sweating 10grains personally.

Think about this, My draw length is 25", If I shoot a 55lb bow thats like a 40lb or 45lb bow at 28".

Should I draw 75lbs to go hunting? Obviously not.

I think you're good to go. Get out there and shoot somethin.
