My bow is a 60 pounder and I'm using gold tip 55/75 cut to 28 1/2 inces with 250 grain tips. I weighed my arrow and its coming up to be around 555 grain total weight. I'm wondering what other people have for similar set up speed tests. If I can rough estimate my arrow speed of others results with similar variables I can calculate roughly what type of KE my set up is tossing out...........my wheelie bow is about 70 KE, I'm sure my stick is less, I'd just like to know

Please take this with all due respect but forget K.E. and tune for proper arrow flight and use sharp cut on contact broadheads. Set-ups like yours have killed everything in North America.

I am guessing 175.  But I agree with Jim- KE does not say much.  Try momentum calculations- but even that will not tell you much.  Think of it this way- who has the most KE on his shot- Koby or LeBron?

I'm sure my set up will do fine with a well placed arrow. I'm just a bit of a nerd and am fascinated with the science of it all.

Richard- if you like that type of stuff- seriously, look into momentum calculations.  Compare to KE and even to your compound with KE and momentum.  It really is interesting.

Assuming you do achieve 175 FPS and have a 555 grain arrow you will achieve a slug force of .43 ( momentum calculation ).

With good arrow flight and cut on contact sharp broadheads you are in great shape.  Elk and Kudu hunting is sufficient with numbers in the .41 range.  You have plenty of "Omph" for whitetail deer or elk.
