I have always built quick natural blinds to turkey hunt.This year my 8 year old daughter wants to come with me,so I'm going to need a blind.
I really like the looks of the Hidden hunter blinds,especially how they set up.
2 questions I have are, Do you think there would be enough room for her to sit behind or to the side of me on a chair or stool?
How careful do you have to be about hitting the rods on the ground? just worried about her stepping on them and making the blind move.Not even sure if that's an issue,but figured I'd ask.

Best blind going in my opinion.  Plenty of room for you and your daughter.  The rods aren't usually an issue.  I hunted with them exposed for a couple years with no issue.  Someone, I think Ron LaClair, mentioned using a carpet remnant on the ground in the blind.  I have done that this past fall and there is defiantly no issue now.

Just received the large one for my birthday. Easy set up foe sure. No more fighting to set up. Will easily handle your needs. I am going to fit it with a piece of that fake green grass rug.

There's plenty of room for two people to sit side by side in the Hidden Hunter blind. I've done it many times and I'm not a small guy...    :rolleyes:  

The new Predator camo is an awesome blind, it disappears in the woods. The rods on the bottom are not an issue. I only put down the carpet in the late season when there's snow on the ground, it keeps your feet warmer. When it's really cold a Little Buddy propane heater will have you as comfortable as sitting home in your living room.

It can be raining, snowing and blowing but you're cozy inside and still hunting.

How is this blind when caring it through the woods. Judging by the pics,looks like a pain in the a$$.

If you click on Ron's link and scroll down, there is a picture of the blind folded up for transport being carried over a guy's shoulder.  Doesn't look like too much of a pain to me... and I'm a "crip"!

Looking at the pics it looks big and bulky and a pain in the ass to carry with the rest of my things. But after viewing the video I stand corrected.  =}}}}=NUTZ=>      

I tend to shoot longer bows, 64" and up. My go to right now is a 66" hybrid, but have been considering a 68" or longer D shaped. Would like to hear thoughts from guys with similar setups.

Just ordered one today.  I'll let you guys know how long of a bow I can shoot out of it.

Thanks,should have mentioned I shoot 64-70" longbows. I'm 5'8" tall.

Very nice looking blind

The Hidden Hunter is ABSOLUTELY my choice for a tent style blind. I have one placed semi permanently on some local property......"tent" is the correct description. It is roomy enough, that I have placed an old quilt in the bottom of mine, and I have snoozed many hours in it....made right here in Michigans UP by traditional bowhunters. BEST CHOICE in my opinion.

Ron, you should bring one to Kalamazoo.  My original Double Bull T2 recurve model seems to losing its height after all these years and I would much rather buy a US made, Michigan made blind rather than a Chinese on from Primos.
