Morrison shooters out there. Where should a guy start with main limb bolt set up with medium glass/wood recurve limbs?  thanks

I would start light maybe 4 turns out....try it and turn it in if you think you want more. What is the limb poundage, your draw length, and what are you looking for!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Depends on your draw length.  If you have a short draw, you'd probably want to get maximum preload; if you're draw is long, you'd probably want minimum preload.

Take your bolts out; screw them back in about 6 full turns, and that'll be very close to minimum preload.

Insert a set of limbs in the riser and screw your bolts all the way down against the limbs.  Back off until you can easily remove and reinsert your limbs.  That'll be maximum preload.

You need to mindful not to allow any binding of the ILF fittings.

good advice from Jim.

Also, Brace height makes a big difference on my Morrison- definate sweet spot . You can feel and hear where it is

Anyone have any thoughts on insulating a metal riser?   I've noticed not only my hand freezing but it pulling heat from my legs while resting in my lap.  I ditched my ilf after early season this year.  I've heard about tennis wrap anyone try something else?
If your shooting stinks, work with a Form master.  It'll bring back your A game.
