Since developing a growing passion for original 50's bows, i was curious how many of you folks hunt with or shoot'em?   :campfire:

Marc B.

We still shoot my Dad's 1958 Alaskan, he started with it in 58, my uncle around 60, me in 79, and my brother around 82. I still hunt and shoot my Granddad's 62 Kodiak.

Jim Picarelli

A couple years ago I hunted with my '59 Grizzly

I finished this season out with a bear cub. Didn't see anything though. Now onto bunnies. Will try the picture thing when I connect.

Believe it or not the "HARDWAY" is often the EASIER way(in hindsight)!

Late '50s Grizzly, Kodiak and Alaskan.  They all shoot great, unfortunately, I haven't had a good shot yet this season to prove it.

My 59 "Broken Heart" gets out in the woods quite a bit

The name "Broken Heart" comes from a badly damaged purpleheart sight window which Bowdoc repaired in the Restoration 101 thread here on TG
