Got the rug back this afternoon. Really looks nice. The pict doesn't even come close to doing it justice.

If there were 3 animals I had ever wanted to take with a bow since I was a kid, it would have been a nice whitetail, a moose and a bear. The quest for that colored bear came later on (along with the turkey) but all in all, a lifetime of bowhunting has provided me with a lot of great moments and cherished memories.

While nothing will ever top my kids taking their first deer with a bow, the blonde bear is right there at the top. I've been blessed – VERY blessed!

Looking forward to spending a couple weeks in Manitoba in bear camp this spring not hunting but maybe contributing what little I can to helping others fulfill maybe some of the same dreams I've had in the past.
