A hex head on a steel adapter will get you close for that.

I'll definately be one of the first on the list when these puppies become available.  Your right, Bob, that 300 will likely be the ticket for me and the the time it will save me in not having to put together my own BH combo will be priceless!

This is the broadhead I was talking about in "Something Awesome On the Horizon."

Is that the same head?....or just the photo angle?....left looks short and stubby...right looks long and lean....probably somewhere in between or two different heads?

Terry, Its the same head just different angles. This one is hardened steel, production will SS, so no rust..

Hmmmm, it's going to be a screw-on head?? But the one in the pic is a glue on?? Is that right?

Are we going to get a glue on for woodies? I like it because it's not fluted, I don't use Snuffers anymore or WW's because of the lack of metal in the blade, but I'd sure like these. I've bent a few Snuffers, these don't look as bendable 'cause of the solid blades.

Mean looking head, I'd try some. That is, if I can find an arrow stiff enough to hang 300+ grains off of.

You could also use it to hammer in your tent stakes at camp!  :biglaugh:

I like it! I like it!
It's always good to have some choices.

Bob Morrison

Shane, It is a screw on. On a wood grained carbon arrow. It is tough, quiet and as strong as it can be with the solid blades.

razorsharptokill

I'm sure the military will want some to use on enemy tanks! LOL!

Very nice!

oh wow that head is nasty lookin!!!

OzarkRamblr

Aaah, okay. My eyes be deceiving me, nifty lookin' arrow. Don't know if I can be persuaded to go back to carbons but I really do like the looks of that broad head. The solid/thin profile is what I like the best. I shoot long, solid, thin two blades now. This three blade might get me to buy a half dozen carbons...

Is that head wider than a Woodsman? Are the blades further apart?

Roger,
Bob answered that earlier on page two or three I think. It is 1 1/8" wide, so it is 1/8" wider than a WW. It is three blade so, all three blades have blades spaced 120 degrees apart.

Bob, still wanting to know if they are SS or Carbon steel ???
