Cyclic rivers, Adirondack bowman and myself went out to see if we could kill a snowshoe rabbit today. We gave it a valiant effort but alas we came up empty. After lunch at the camp we did 2 more small hunts and turned it into a stump shoot. What a great time.....and the day was just beautiful. We saw some deer sign and jumped a few grouse, Charlie saw a great Horned owl. Just a great day!

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Great picture Roger. Don't necessarily like working in it but looking forward to a few Saturday afternoon walks with Annie if we ever get a little cold and snow.

That's what most of Malcolm and my hunts turn into...first pigs, then small game, and then stumps!  Great fun! Sometimes we get a mixed bag, but mostly stumps!

I had a great time. I managed 2 quick photos. the rest of the time the camera was in the pack.  At least you can see the gorgeous weather we had in a gorgeous place.

Ron's cabin is just over the Sacandaga river and at the base of a mountain.  You have mountain views in most directions,  an awesome place indeed, The cabin was built by a civil war vet with one leg.

I couldn't have asked for a better time with better people.
