2fletch thanks for good information, now I just have to decide if I should go with the two arrow or the 3 arrow and just put two arrows in it most of the time. I like those deep hoods for grizzly broadheads!

I got a bunch of your quivers...will I be able to buy just the 3 arrow Mesa head?

Tippit, you can certainly get just the hood part of this 3 arrow quiver. The cost would be minus $20 for the bottom part. How has your hunting season been? You have had some awesome results in the past.

To reiterate, the Midget Mesas will accommodate up to a 2 1/2" long broadhead, and the Mini Mesa will accommodate up to 3" in length. Both will take up to 2" in width. The Target Mesa will take 4 arrows in a lightweight single pocket hood that's great for 3-D or stump shooting.

I was at EFA tonight for the Tuesday shoot and Don let us see his prototypes. Both look really nice and are super lightweight. The 2-3 two blade model will hold the largest broadheads easily. I plan on owning one soon.

Don't put much stock in what WRV said about "I plan on owning one soon." The way he's been binging in new bows he can't have any money left. Last night he brought in a Black Widow that had the guys all drooling. To make things worse one of the other guys had a new Widow. They are getting harder to beat.

Neargeezer, I weighed a 3 arrow Mini Mesa with Totem and Wing attachments. It weighed about 6.7 oz.

Feel free to ask more questions. Your imput has aided us in making many of our products. Several of you approached us two years (or more) ago about  making a sheath type quiver. It took us a while but now it's here. I think that you will like these.

One more question, I carry my Hill bow horizontal by the riser with the string closest to the ground. Would the totem be winged back far enough on a straight riser so it would not be up against my knuckles when I carried it in this manor? Some bow quivers put an arrow shaft up against my knuckles when I carry the bow this way and in cold weather it tends to freeze my hand.
So to make a long question longer, would I have more clearance with or without the totem? I know for me the wing option is a must.

I'll be ordering a three arrow mini in the next few days.  I need something to cover up the treesharks completely, managed to get my hand on an exposed corner this afternoon.

I have a Mesa with the totem. I had it on a big five. I ended up taking the totem off. It worked better for me this way. I still think if I could get a spacer for the top it would perfect. Anyways to answer your question I carry my bow the same way and I did not care for the totem because of the clearance.

I would be extremely interested in the 2 arrow for a 2 blade.

While I've got your attention.....how about a super lightweight single arrow for a 2 blade....lighter the better...give us access to an arrow quicker for stalking...

threeunder, what size broadheads do you use? If weight is the main factor then the hood should be available in at two sizes to cover the wide range available.

I have seen what Don has been working on. These quivers are very nice and thought out. Don by the way have my feathers come in yet?

Just a few minutes ago someone came into the shop and got a 3 arrow Mini Mesa and then just the hood portion of a 4 arrow Target Mesa. He will use the 4 arrow gripper for either hood. That's pretty versatile.

I shoot Simmons Interceptor Safari and Simmons Tree Sharks.
Weight is my main concern.  I use your 3 arrow mini and really, really like it.  Just wishing for a little more...or less actually....lol

threeunder, what would be the minimum size (length and width)for the broadheads that you use? Also, what is the number of arrows that you normally use for hunting? Anyone else can answer this also.

We will make a size that will hold the longest broadheads and the widest, but if you don't use those big heads then you could get by with a smaller and lighter quiver. We will make another smaller hood for these.
