Im sure there are many great choices but King of the mountain garments are my favorite for not only warmth, but the camo will make you disappear.
This is years of experience talking.

Skyline Apperation, or outfitters. My hunting friends never see me . So I think it works somewhat

After reading these glad I am making the choice to ASAT.  Showed my boss some pics of it and he is changeing over to it also.  Showed him a Predator jacket I had in my truck and he liked it.

Military Eastern Woodland still works for most of the season here.

ASAT, Predator (most patterns), Kuiu Vias and Verde, Max-1, Mothwing Mountain Mimicry, Cabela's Outfitter and Open Country, Mossy Oak Treestand, Optifade Forest and Open Country. Each of them is great depending on the surroundings. My favorites overall are the contrasting, open patterns from ASAT, Predator and Kuiu. Nothing is as good as a ghille suit, with a leafy suit close behind. Almost every modern pattern can be very effective in the right surroundings, but the conditions where that happens can be VERY limited for some patterns. Dark, non-contrasting patterns tend to "blob" except when the background is dark and fairly uniform, like tree trunks and heavy bushes.

Me Too ha! If I had to pick one pattern though I would say the Original Realtree.

Most of my stuff is realtree AP because it's easy to match across different clothing lines.  I really like the sitka patterns I just can't afford to spend the money on it.

Since '86 it's been ASAT. Early season I like using a Sticks 'N Limbs top because of the heavy foilage. I also like my Brown Woodland Camo....on the ground, use anything with brown.

If hunting turkeys I like some kind of camo, really believe the stuff works.  Over the last few years it has been Sitka Gear, the early stuff, that I am pretty sure says mothwing and mountain mimicary on the clothes.  If hunting deer or other non avian species, it dont matter.  Camo, plaids, etc.  I am truely convinced that a tree with good cover to break up outline and correct movements at correct times are way more important than a camo pattern.  From Mid Oct till jan 6 500 square inches of hunter orange is required in TN when muzzle loader and big gun season is going on.  I kill more deer with a recurve wearing blaze orange than it seems I do in early season not wearing it.  The only thing I dont like about wearing blaze orange is if hunting in areas with turkeys it can be detrimental.

I like 5.11 multicam. for southern whitetails. Hadn't tried it on turkeys yet. I have always used Obsession for them but I am going to try the MultiCam this spring. It won't take long to see if it works. Them turks will let you know quickly.

I like the first Realtree Hardwoods. It was very open, dull and wasn't "hi-def"

Going to Great lakes outdoors to buy some ASAT tomorrow.  They are listed as a dealer in my area.

Old school WW II pattern.  I think it's as good as any, ESP on the ground.
