3Rivers sells one called Flex Pro. If you click on it,there is a guy from the manufacturer that gives a demonstration. I like mine so much I'm ordering one for my longbow that I just got. It has a tent stake type adjustment on the string that I really like, and I like how the cups pull down on the back of the limb there are no cups.

Orion

I like the webster for longbows and recurves.  A&H sells it as do a number of other bow makers/vendors.

Brock

I have never found one...commercial or custom that I like and trust like the Selway Limbsaver...I have one for recurve and also one to use on high R/D longbows...even carry extra in my vehicle for when out hunting...just in case or if someone else needs it.

I like the Bateman stringer.  leather tips. and easy to use.

After trying a bunch of them I think the Selway is the best over all.

The leg strap stringer Ben Graham of Hummingbird bows sells.  No way to twist a limb or poke out an eye and I feel my bow is safer using it than any other.  Can be seen on his web site. Cup end stringers can twist a limb in a second if you don't pull exactly straight up with them.  Torque the grip while pulling up and you got a twisted limb!

I ended up making my own thanks to the help of another tradganger and my own forgetfulness. They were cheap to make with scrap leather and rope and I now have one in each of my vehicles and in my hunting pack and my hunting jacket so I'm never without it.

Ghost Dog

Thunderhorn Super Stringer.  Best working, best built, best looking. Trust me, :-)

Drewster

X2 the Thunderhorn.  It works for longbows and recurves.  I have a cup style stringer too, but it doesn't work for bows with thin tips.

I couldn't find that stringer, and I would like to see what it looks like. Can you direct me to where it is?

My favorite is the Webster.

Another vote for the Selway.  I use on both recurves and longbows.
