I've got two of them and they still look new. Can't see any signs of flaking or peeling.

Is it hydrographed (camo)? That aside, I would contact Hoyt. May have been a contamination issue.

I own one as well and havent had any finish issues.  Mine is black riser with the maple limbs.

If you sprayed it with scent killer that is what caused it

A black riser and only on a corner here and there. I touch up with flat black rustoleam paint.

i actually contacted hoyt and they said i should send it back to them to be repainted.   I chose not to as i was using the bow for hunting and i live in newfoundland canada and would probably not get it back for 6 months.  I don't want to do without it that long.  anyway  its not a big issue for me i was just wondering if anyone else experienced it or if i was the only one.  i have not used scent killer anywhere near the bow and it was actually a flake of paint not just worn down on the corner.

I have owned one for over a year and purchased a second one about seven months ago. The risers have held up really well. One of the bows has camo limbs and that is where I am seeing paint flaking a little. No issues at all with the maple limb bow.
