How do YOU set/change your brace height?

To set or change my brace height, I unstring the top end, keeping the bottom end attached, twist to the desired direction (longer or shorter), then restring the bow.
However, I just received a new Zipper and the instructions say to do the twisting from the bottom end. Also, I've been reading Fred Asbell's Instinctive Shooting books, and he says to completely unstring the bow and twist up or down and then replace the string.
It seems with the Zipper way, I'd have to reverse the stringer to make their system work and Mr. Asbell's string might lose some twist in the exchange.
What do you do?

I let top loop slide down limb and twist at bottom.

Same as Rob W.. How do you get the top off without taking the string off at the bottom? The top should slide down the limb when unstringing and stay on the top limb until the bottom is removed from the bow. The top loop is the larger loop.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Guess I am the only weirdo in the group. I take it off completely and step on the bottom loop twisting top loop. When it comes time to re string i just hold the bottom loop in place.

I will say twisting from the bottom loop is going to be my preferred method now because stringing and un-stringing during tuning is flat out    :banghead:

I do it differently too. I have leather tip protectors on all my lower limbs so I use my stringer and just slip the top loop off, twist it and then put it back on.  I can't see where it's going to make a difference whether you twist at the top or bottom unless it's a matter of being more convenient to get the string off the lower limb.

This way as I shoot a longbow and push pull to string and unstring.

I'm with wapitirod, I pull loose at the top, twist what I need, and put it back.

With a Selway Stringer.  I twist from the top loop and leave the bottom in place.
