I was hopeing someone could confirm my suspision that these are Wasp broadheads. I was also hopeing that someone could tell me the grain weight on these, where can I get replacement blades for these. Any info would be great. Thanks.

The bronze colored one are Original Wasp Cam Loks in 125 grn. I think i have a pile of blades(and ferruls) in the basement for them. Give me a day to dig them up and i will let you know how many i have . Bill

The green heads are Wasps also, and earlier than the orange.  The blades are modified injector razor blades.  I have some in my collection that are glue on rather than screw ins.

The early green ones were discontinued because the blades often broke off upon impact.

I can see why! I had a dozen of the green glue ons & managed to break a few blades by installing them! Real sharp though (yes, I cut myself.)
I gave them away to a compound hunting friend.

I was just on  www.lancasterarchery.com  site and under broadheads they listed the wasp. Personally I don't think they are a very good choice for trad bows for hunting big game. Good Luck

So I looked on lancasterarchery and saw the new ones. They are 130 and 140 grain models. Is there any way of knowing with out a grain scale what these are. What is a grain equal to? Is one grain one oz? Are the blaces for the new ones interchangable with the old heads? Thanks for the info so far. Great to have a community of people to answer these questions. Other wise It might take me months with my local shop.

I think they are 130 gr.  Shoot my first deer ever w/ one about 20 some odd years ago. Always got pass thrus w/ them.  Mike

doubletime I just going to guess that they are 125 that seemed to be a popular weight back then. No a grain is alot less than an ounce.Something like 400 and something to the ounce I believe better google it a grain isn't much maybe a paper match if that much. You can get a digital scale for $20 or so they work well. Maybe lancaster can help you more I just see the web site and remembered your post. I was surprised they are still making them. Why all the special interest in these heads there are better on the market for trad bows? Good Luck

The orange 130 grain 3 blade Wasp Cam Lok remains one of my favorite broadheads.  I still have half dozen or so.  I switched to the Hi Tech Cam Lok 100's and shot them through the late 90's, but they were discontinued a couple years ago too...

Thanks guys you have all been very helpfull Im going to get some 1916 or 2016 and use the matching target heads for those wasps as a stating point.

I have a few of the old orange ones stored away somewhere myself.  Took my first bow killed critter, a coyote, with them over 20 years ago. A bit of nostalgia for me   .
