Have always enjoyed reading everyone's hunting stories on here stories on here so decided to try putting one on here myself.  I'm not much of a story teller so don't be too hard on me.  

Due to poor shooting and a Kentucky Lake fall/winter crappie affliction haven't hunted much the last couple years.  My poor shooting started when I decided I needed to perfect my form.  I really fell off in the rabbit hole with mechanical thoughts and got myself to the point I didn't feel right about hunting.  That's really another thread though.  Long story short, this spring I went back to heavier bows(had dropped into low 40's trying to work on form)and my old set-arm snap shooting method and regained my confidence.  May not win any trophies but it works well enough for me.

Enough with the little backstory, on with the hunt.  Have been hunting hard the last couple of weeks and passed several shots at does hoping an old buck would be following.  My brother has trail camera pictures of a couple of mature bucks with strong left sides and very weak right sides that I was really after.  But as of yesterday I hadn't even got a glimpse of either one and unfortunately had seen another younger buck with the same traits as the two old guys.  When he(the younger one) came in yesterday morning, I decided it was time.  Ended up angling to my right and I found myself having to shoot from an awkward postion.  The shot was a little less than perfect, but I gave him plenty of time and the big Snuffer 160 from my Fred Anderson Skookum did the trick.  First time shooting the big Snuffer, was impressed with the blood trail even if it was a little longer than I would have liked.
