A guy I met has a Bear bow he bought at yard sale for 20$.

On the top limb is custom Kodiak T/D. When you take the limb out on the bottom is has a U or V and 102 or Z & 50.

Bottom limb is Bear Archery with the bear emblem, then Gainesville Florida, and U.S. PAT. 2.842.113. And bottom of limb has L 102 or Z & 50.

Riser is brown/grey, limbs are black 60" 50#.

Would appreciate any info, year, worth. Thank you.

Custom Kodiak, usually sell for between $500-$750 depending on condition. The serial number on the riser will indicate when it was manufactured.

There is no writing/numbers on the riser.

Another question, the string that came with the bow makes the brace hight 9". The guy that got the bow was told that is the string that came with it when bought.

I thought the BH would start at around 7.5" on up.

It would help if you could post a picture of the riser. The Super Kodiaks and Custom Kodiaks usually brace between 8-9"
