....And I wanna have South build a new stalker for me using these to back the limbs. My question is, the skins are pretty much ready to put on but I can't really see the detail or color of the skins because they are dry and I was wondering if there is a way to wet the skins or something to see what the finnished look will be ? Thanks for any help !

You can hydrate a piece of them, just dont wet the whole skin. Copperheads are very translucent and look much better over lighter woods like yew, osage, brown actionwood, etc. Do yours have more brown/coppery colors or are they the gray phase?

just wipe with a wet paper towel on a small spot, it will hydrate quickly. Then pat dry and lay flat to dry again. Dont do this more than once. He will have to rehydrate himself and multiple times weaken the fibers of such a delicate skin.

You'll see the detail of the skins when they are glued on.  The key is the color of the limb underneath the skin.  I think light tan is the best color to show off copperheads.  Black limbs will make the skins look completely different and lose a lot of the detail IMO.

Sweet, those will look awesome. What wood or glass color are they going over?
