I shoot a whisperstik Mojo stik 44@28".  I draw 27".  Would Gold Tip traditionals 35-55s cut to 29 1/2 or 30" be a good match as far as spine goes? and what weight broadhead would be good for said arrows?

little lighter than I'm used too but I'm thinking 29" because you don't want too much sticking out up front and messing with your mind while your trying to pick a spot..  but 29" and at least 200gr point screwed into the insert.  

shoot a bare shaft and report back whats its doing and we'll get you right there though..

35/55 are only 30" to start with. Never cut before you tune. You will probably need heavy tips with those shafts. 15/35 would work with lighter points. You are only pulling #41 lbs at your draw. Alot of guys are shooting 35/55's out of #50lb bows.

I agree that 35/55's would be too stiff for your setup. I think that 15/35's would be a better match. DO NOT CUT until you try them full length bare shaft first.

Go lighter spine for sure, at least .600 spine. You might want to get an idea of what weight broadhead you want to shoot, what you want for total arrow weight (GPP), and such, then look for the arrow that'll suit you best.

Thank you for your help everyone.  I would like to shoot 125 grain heads because they are available in many different styles.

I even learned something and maybe should of stayed out of it,, ha ha I never knew about the 15/35's  wow what is the defection on those?

get the heritage 150's, 100 gr brass insert, and 125 heads. I shoot those out of a 45# recurve with the same draw length as yours.

what length arrow are you shooting?

I'm not too far off from you.  I draw 27" and have a number of bows in the 45-48# at 28" range.  The answer is that what I can shoot depends upon the bow.  A lot of it has to do with whether or not the bow is center cut or not.  I can shoot Heritage 150s left full length with a 100gr brass inserts out of my Leon Stewart Slammer (48# at 28, center cut) or my RER recurve (48 at 28, -1/16 cut), but those won't shoot well out of my Silvertip that is 47# at 28.  That bow shoots full length GT 35/55's with 50 gr inserts pretty well.  One option for you may be to buy a set of various weight points (3R sells them as a test kit) and see what point weight flies best for you at full length and then adjust from there.

I have a Bama Expi 47@28 and I draw 29 1/2, I shoot 3555s full length w 145pts! You may be little stiff but as stated try them full length w various point weights see how they shoot! My other 3 bows all shoot these arrows great they are 50lb and 52@28!
