as a ground hunter I'm starting to notice this chair because of the back support and I'm wondering if its really quiet when turning and doesn't have that metallic roller sound (like older rollerskates or skateboard wheels had)  and the one thing I didn't see is how does it transport, how heavy is it, is it quiet setting up.   currently I use a  Nifty seat which after about 7 other hunting seats I still find it cannot be beat.

let me know about this 360 seat if you use one now or tried one in the past.

thanks T

I just got one this year and have only used it a couple times.  Like it so far, very comfortable and quiet.  There are probably more portable chairs, but the 360 is great once it's where you want it.

I have done some reviews on this chair. Look at the Product Reviews forum and search for "Huntmore"

It's a great product and Scott Hoffman stands behind it 100%

I have one and I like it.  It is pretty quiet, but I wish I had gotten the newer model with the shorter legs.

Ladams

I just got mine yesterday Feels pretty good in the livingroom I will test it out in the woods this weekend,

I killed a big fat doe the 1st time I used my new 'smaller' version......

Not sure what you mean by 'portable'....it is, but not sure what degree you are wanting to tote it....or in what type of terrain, or vegetation.

Easy to set up....and YES, it is QUIET!!!

Nice doe Terry congratulations! I just got my new smaller version and yes it is heavier than my cheap folding stool and my Torges seat but in reality it's not that bad. It weighs less than any portable tree stand and will be a valuable tool for my hunting. It is silent and easy to set up and the rotation of the seat is smooth! So far the best hunting seat I've ever had bar none.

sounds good so far,  Portable I guess I mean would you carry it in a back pack pack or does it have a sling where you carry it behind you.

I like my hands free and only holding my bow and the string sometimes going in and coming out, how do you guys carry this in and out of the woods?

Mine came in a bag with an adjustable strap that I can carry over my shoulder. I am going to darken up the lighter spots on the bag as to not draw attention. You could also put it in a large back pack is that's your preference.

Great chair. Very comfortable. Very quiet when rotating into shooting position. I prefer to use mine when I have a spot picked out to hunt. Not something I want on my shoulder while still hunting or scouting. I've tried most of the chairs on the market. The Huntmore 360 is well made and a good investment for the serious ground hunter.

Scott the owner and brains behind the operation shoots a longbow and HUNTS out of his chair...it was designed by him and for him and there are NO cheapo shortcuts on the HM360.  When he finds a weakness thru extensive field testing, he eliminates it.  It is the only field chair I have been able to sit in all day and not hurt.  Quiet , fully adjustable, and bulletproof. Folds up to a handy carrying size and takes little time to set up properly. One of the few things around worth the initial investment.

I tried the 16". I am 6'', 240 pounds. It was too small for me. That center arm in the front (that goes between your legs) was positioned in my goods. It was not comfortable. I sat in the larger one at a local shop. It was 100 times better for me. That was my only complant on the 16". It is a good solid seat and  very quiet.

I got one of the older original ones, most comfortable chair on the market,my only complaint with this chair(if I had one) is it's kinda expensive and a tad heavy....

I've got the bigger model and love it. But then again I'm a bigger boy.  I sat in Tim Cosgroves smaller version at camp this fall and for women and smaller fellas it'd be good, but there really wasn't that much size/weight difference in my opinion.

As far as everything else, it's hands down the nicest seat I've been in.

Lost Arra:
I'm using the 19". The smaller one did not fit me as well. I'm very happy with my purchase. Good hunting and "Keep'Um Sharp".
