well i was lucky enough to find some steel from old saw blades and was hoping to make some broadheads from it. i can cut the point out but im unable to figure a way out to attach it to a carbon arrow so ican screw it in. im sorry if this is a dumb question but i need some ideas.

thanks!

You could use a feild tip and a band saw and try and cut a lines down the middle and then tack weld the blade in but getting it to spin true is gonna be hard I would make some for wood and use wood arrows.  Come to think about it Mr Tippit made a trade point and used it on a carbon arrow on the bear quest post be worth asking him

There was some one on here that did that very thing (attached to a field point) but cant remember who it was.
