Here's some photos of some moccasins that I have made. I like using 8 oz buffalo leather for mine. It's very durable but still soft and pliable. But like folks have mentioned, if you get the soles wet they can be slippery!

Darren those are super nice! I really like the bottom pair.

darren:
Do you make those? Do you sell them or is that a pattern?  Where do you get the buffalo?  Like RLA, I'd be interested in one like the bottom or middle pairs.

I have Quoddy's for just walking around and Russel Trackers with the boar skin bottoms for hunting.  I wear the Quoddy's everyday and really like them. The Russel's are light, tough, and fit like they where made for me (oh yeah, they where made for me  :) . Great for dry weather stalking for pigs and bears but like others have said, if it's wet out and you need to go up a grade or walk a log, goodluck staying upright.

I do make those moccasins to sell; custom-made and hand sewn for your feet. However....I am covered up with work right now.

I get the buffalo leather from The Hide House in California. You can find them on the web.

Russel moccisons make a lot of diffrent ones. And you can get hi-low. Diffrent soles. A wide choice. I got the tula-tula. And I like them, dont know if they are worth what they cost. Would like to get a pair of the PH. But cant afford right now.Check em out though they are well made.
