Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Selfbow, I haven't had to take anything out yet in the kayak but I will figure it out when I have to.I was thinking I will probably have to quarter it so I have been carrying a good knife. It's a 17 foot kayak and very stable so It should do good unless I shoot a 300lb hog then I might be in trouble.  :help:

Nomad,

First off thank you for taking the time to take and post those pictures.  I love seeing the areas others hunt.  Wonderful pictures.  Secondly, I miss the canoe/kayak hunts, I really need to get back to that
Thirdly, I am glad I live in IL because I don't know if I could get out in that water in a kayak 3 inches above water level with those dinosaurs swimming around. I am a chicken and a half.  I am the TOP of the food chain here in the midwest, no wolves, gators, bears, lions etc.  Its me then the yotes.  LOL

Great story and pictures, bought a nice canoe a couple of years ago and just trying to get the time to use it, old story, too much work and not enough playtime.

I'll look forward to reading about your adventures.
