Guys - Teresa is a "One -Woman-Show" I know for a FACT that she spends days at a time on the sewing machine, trying to stay current. She sews things in batches, which is why sometimes it's a week, sometimes a little longer. She has to do it this way, in order to keep scrap down...which keeps cost down. When she gets a special or custom order, well that makes things tougher. Frankly, I have suggested that she stop taking custom orders, but she is hesitant to do so. She likes being able to help a guy out who has a special need, etc.

Aside from being my good friend, Teresa and I have an awesome working relationship. If any of you would rather, contact me and I will take care of your garment. The reason I am able to streamline things for you, is that I can just focus on YOUR need, while Teresa is worrying about zip ups, pullovers, haversacks, GFA quivers, bulk wool shipments, GFA books...It's kinda like the old days when you could probably call Henry Ford and order up a car, but it just became easier to contact the dealership. It won't cost you a penny more through me.

you can contact me by email (roger@traditionalwoodsman.com), PM, or cell phone.

P.S....there is a new shadowy looking plaid coming out in about 10 days.....your gonna like it!!
Good post. Makes sense.  My shipping issues were related to books/etc. but I love their wool and will be ordering another.  Interested in this new shadow pattern....can you give us a hint in colors?

What do you call that pattern?  I like it.

Rick Richard

That would be real nice for treestand hunting with a matching pair of bibs or pants.

At least you guys can wear wool. I am alergic to it.  Each garment is basically custom and AMERICAN made and sure looks like it is worth the wait.

Mine was a few weeks but worth the wait I really like it!

I ordered 2 zip ups, a pullover, and a wind breaker vest liner 10 days ago. Teresa said she had all of it in stock and it would ship that day or the next, I still have not got it. She is a nice lady and makes pretty nice stuff for the money though, but she is slow to ship sometimes. Oh well things happen, I will get it when I get it.

False Cast

Mine will be here tomorrow and I'm very excited to receive it. It's my first garment from her and I've heard nothing but good things. It's been about 4 weeks. I can handle that for a handmade product made in the U.S. Especially for a hunting garment ordered in September.

I wish she'd make wool pants, though. That'd be too cool.

Great products, and well worth the wait !!!

It took some time for me to reach her on the phone and I almost gave up. but I'm sure glad I didn't.  I ordered a custom piece in June and it arrived in September.  Here's what I learned:

1.  Teresa is as charming a lady as you'll find.
2.  She cares about her product and your satisfaction with it.
3.  If she isn't happy with how things turn (draw cord material) she'll order new materials until she's satisfied...that caused the delay on my order.
4.  Her products are top-notch and you are going to LOVE it when you get it!!

In short, give her some time and be patient.  Don't wait until November to order for Christmas...order now.

Good luck.

Anxious to get mine! Been 3 weeks or so. Not alarmed just excited.
is it September yet??

I am being trying to be patient as well, I like the stuff she makes. I just do not like being told it is in stock and it will ship out the next day, 10 days later, still nothing. It is what it is though. I am sure it will arrive sometime.

Ordered  mine the night of September 23, it arrived today. It was well worth the wait as far as the eye can tell, very good fit and great quality.Got evening stand green mackinaw and silent stalker brown pullover without hood, hope to get to put it to practical test soon. So far I'm impressed!!!!

About 15 minutes for me.  I was at the PreSpring Fling this past Feb, it got cold Friday night, there was a line early Saturday morning, she pretty much sold out everything except for really small and G. Fred size.

So Thursday I order from Roger & my zip up wool jacket arrives today!  Thanks and you've won my business!

mine just shipped!!!  christmas is this week!
is it September yet??

TJK68 - 2 weeks is nothing for a hand sewn garment. If you aren't satisfied, please call Teresa rather than continue your grievance here.
