Hey all,

I am wanting to try a Hill style glove and before I buy I just wanted to get an idea of what the favorite is of those that use this type of glove.

Do I go with the Hill Deluxe or the one from American Leathers?  What about the Bateman?  If you have a favorite how about posting your choice?  Also include whether or not you have inserts in yours and what you think about closed end or open.

Your opinions are appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

I'm still shooting my 20 year old HH Deluxe. I have a single thickness Bateman Cordovan that is nice but I need thicker finger stalls. The double thickness Bateman with inserts would be ideal but it is almost twice the price of a new HH Deluxe.

I like inserts and even added my own from flexable plastic to the middle stall of my old HH glove. I've also sewn all my stalls down to the exact fit of each finger and to prevent them moving around I use a school glue stick on the inside. I moisten my finger tips before putting on the glove and they stick good. It is not messy at all. I also rub talcum powder on the stalls for a smooth release.
