I do not know how many other deals my brother had made prior to his untimely death, I know he had a Brack on order and I have already canceled that. If you had a pending deal with him please contact me with the details, obviously if it was a trade or a purchase, his wife does not need or know what the item was. We are just trying to make things right so please contact me via pm here or email.  drowan11@yahoo.com

Danny,

I am deeply moved by the death of your brother.  Please accept my heartfelt sympathy to the entire family.

I did send Donald a knife and sheath that he was going to pay me half this month and half next, but it didn't happen.

So Danny I would like you to have this knife and sheath in remembrance of your brother.  Carry it and use it on your future hunts with your brother.  He'll be watching and smiling whenever it gets put to use.  I know that for a fact as I am still suffering from my loss but I know he is with me on all my hunts.

My prayers are with you and family my friend.

I hope that this poem will bring you a small amount of comfort as it has me with my loss.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Kimber,

My tears are shed for your husband and my son.  I know there are no words that will help at this point, but please know that my prayers are with you and all the family over this tragic loss.

I know Donald will be with Danny on many more hunts, as my son is with me on mine.

Please do not hesitate to call upon me if there is anything that I can do for you during this difficult time.

Donald was certainly a trader, buyer, and seller around these parts, as was Chris.

Many of us carry items with us when we hunt now remembering Chris each time we do it.  I am certain that there are many others around here that will be doing the same with things that they received through Donald.  He will join people on many hunts for a long time to come.

First class offer Larry, but of course that is just a reflection of a first class guy.

Mason and I are heading out this evening so Chris can hunt TN. His 160 gr snuffers are in my quiver and Mason will see his way home tonight with one of Chris' fenix lights. Sure miss trading with him he was sho nuff a "horse trader" as it appears your brother was too Danny. So sorry for your loss my friend, more prayers sent from TN for you.

This need to stay at the top.... Danny, you all are in my continuing prayers. And that Larry Surtees is one awesome guy, to have so much taken from him in the last couple years and he still puts his fellow man first. One fine human being I am proud to know !!!!. If God forbid I am walking in those steps in the future, I hope I can carry myself in that manner.

Did Donald have any kids ?, if so I would be happy to see a auction of some sorts to raise funds for the child or children to be put back for them for education, etc. Would be happy to help in any way I could.

I would be honored to help with a fund raiser for Danny's family or any other assistance that is needed.
