Well in training anyway.

The weather warmed a bit today and I stayed home this morning to let my wife sleep in and make breakfast for everybody. Figured it would be a good evening to take the boys out. This is my youngest first hunt. No deer were seen but we had a great time, ate a bunch of snacks and dug in the dirt.

My oldest showing off a knife he hopes to carry full time one day.

Us leaving about prime time. They lasted longer than I thought they would.  :D

This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

Great to see you out with your boys Rob. Thanks for posting. Good luck this season and hope to see and hunt with you again sometime soon.

Thats awsome, my only hunter in the family got her first squirrel tonight. I know how proud you must be to have your boys in the woods with you.

P.S....Not to read too much into a title, but I love that you called them "Master Woodsmen". When I was a youngster, that was the highest compliment my crusty old Uncles and Grandfather could bestow upon a man. It tells me you care about "all of it"....not just putting deer on the pole. I raised my boys the same way. You are on the right trail my friend.
