What adhesive works best with feathers and shafts with wraps. It would be nice if it were something I could pick up at the hardware store. I have given up on using tape, I will be re-fletching some feathers that came loose or moved that were installed with tape.
Thanks

LOL, I was going to suggest tape as it works great for my wraps. But Duco is a good glue and you can find it anywhere.

Biathlonman

I use tape mostly but fletchtite platinum seems to hold the ends well.  Usually buy a tube or two end of the season at Walmart.

JJACOBS

I have had the same problem when using tape, I switched back to the fletch tite platinum so far it is holding.  By the way, I am using onestringer wraps

I use Onestringer wraps and superglue.  Gorilla Glue impact tough formula works as good as any.  I've also used Pine Ridge Instant arrow glue and Loctite Professional super glue, both work great also. The Gorilla Glue and Loctite can be bought at your local Wal Mart. Pine Ridge superglue can be ordered or found at an archery shop.  I hear Goat Tuff works good too, but have not used it yet.

Duco will not work on wraps! You must use Fletch Tite Platinum or super glue gel.

Your right Jon, I was thinking sealed shafts for the duco.

Hatrick

Agree with Fletch Tite Platinum on wraps. I've tried the tape but will stick to glue from here on.

Onestringer recommends the loc tite ultra gel with their wraps and I have had very good results with it.
