try not to shoot at the whole deer. pick as small a spot as you can where you need the arrow to go.

Have you praticed with the same clothes on that you hunt in. If you missed that bad it could be that your string hit part of your clothing or something like that.

I never wear an armguard, until I put long sleeves on, then I have to to keep the string from hitting my clothes.

I would be suspect of the sleeve as well. I was shooting in the dark the other night with no arm guard, and had one shot at about 15-17 yards, where I felt the string snag my sleeve, and the arrow dropped about 3 ft, but was still straight in regards to left or right. It happens, and is definitely a credible excuse. Lol
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Sounds like a case of the dreaded buck fever to me.  When you get a bad case of buck fever, things like reaching your anchor, follow-through, picking a spot, etc become very difficult.  That's bow-hunting, brother.  If it was guaranteed they would call it shopping.  Just keep at it and get the next one.

2 misses in a row? Is it target panic?

I have had issues with it and am currently having some now.
