I'm wanting to order some wraps from Onestringer for a set of 5575 GT Blems from Big Jims and would like for them to either cut off right behind the labeling or cover it up, but not stop in the middle of the labeling.

Can anyone that has some Gold Tips measure how far down the shaft that labeling goes for me please?

Thanks,
Garrett

On my GT Trad blems from BJ the logo starts 8 15/16" from start of carbon (below nock) and ends at 12 3/8" at the bottom of logo.   I have carefully scraped off the logo w/a knife edge w/o harming the woodgrain finish. Others have used some chemicals to do so.. might try a search here....

I buy the 10" and cut mine where ever I want in a little paper cutter or just scizzors and keep the little leftover pieces for kids arrows or if they are the reflective ones I just save to use on cloths pins or push tacks to find my way in and out of the woods...It only takes a 1/4" piece to tape on a cloths pin and you can collect those cloths pins when you leave the woods at night so know one knows your secret location...

I spin test all my shafts before cutting and trim both ends if necessary.  The labeling ends up being in a slightly different spot on all of them so I just put the wrap on whichever end has enough space.  I don't notice any flight problems doing it this way.

Acetone takes that gold tip label off
Well that sounds like a plan to me then.  Acetone to remove the label, trim off both ends to get the shaft straighter, and don't worry about the wraps.

Thanks for the help guys.

here I was thinking this would be a post about penetration.

I have nothing to add.

This year, I'll be hunting with my remaining Legacy 2016's.  I'm going to try out footed carbons when the remaining Legacy shafts get used up though.
