I have been searching all the threads and haven't found a lot of photos of the three piece Thunderhorns.  My build is coming in December and I would   LOVE to see the different wood combos. Throw me a bone fellas and show off those works of art!!!   Thanks Much, Don!

Joe~  That bow is awesome.  That is probably the most popular photo that pops up when I google/search for Thunderhorn photos.  Awesome photography as well!

KEEP EM COMIN' GUYS!!    I know Duane has made plenty of the 3piece models so I am hoping to get several photos for comparison!

Darned, just as I decided to buy no bows anymore...
How do they shoot? Tell me all about it! That is a magnificent looking bow and I like the stippling and woods very much! The antler limb bolts are from Frank & Shell(sticshooter), right?
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

They shoot great guys.  My 2nd favorite bow of all time!  I've had a bunch.

Steve

Here is one I've owned in the past.  It is all bacote.  A real looker and smooth shooter...

The limb vaneers were sick   :saywhat:

This Thunderhorn although not a 3-piece Heartstopper is still as buttery smooth and will be part of my static collection for years to come.  The model is not found on Duanes website but is called the  Vintage.  You can see how he incorporated a more pistol style grip.  The riser is Bolivian Rosewood.

Fantastic bows. I really like mine. Packing her to the stand tonight. Mine has Micarta in the riser and I really like the extra weight. Sure is dead in the hand on a shot.

I just recently heard about that vintage model. Looks like a winner.  BILL

Tom,

You must have a real healthy relationship.  Your bow inventory is amazing!

Bill,

That Vintage is serial #1 the first production model after the prototype was completed.  I can't say enough about the bow.  It has a spooky cast for being so smooth.  A combination that  always gets my attention.

Kentucky TJ...That is a sweetheart. What sort of quiver do you have on there?
Make certain your exhausted when you reach them Pearly Gates.

Longbowlogan

I bet Kentucky TJ has a Zipper quiver on the Thunderhorn. That's my guess, could be wrong. Some sweet looking bows, how is the speed out of these bows?

Chromebuck, that is a SWEET Thunderhorn.  Bocote is my favorite wood of all time.  TJ, you already know I have serious bow envy with your Thunderhorn!  Keep em' coming, it never gets old looking at these bows!

Chromebuck

Don,

For sure, the purdiest bow I ever owned and the first bow I have regrets of selling.  I know, stay in this game and surely it will happen again.  At least it went to a good TradGanger       .

Logan,

I wouldn't call them "double carbon" fast, as I previously stated, to me they have a surprisingly flat cast for such a smooth draw.  A combination that I find very attractive in any bow.

Great bows!
