Last year's excuse- That deer seemed a little crazy, so I shot the tree by him to scare him off. This year's- I was keeping my face tucked in, so the deer got to walk past my shooting area before I saw him, because there were about a hundred robins pooping on me. Problem with this year's excuse, I am not kidding.

I'm with ryan on this one. I may miss by a mile but I always have something positive to say about it! I was shooting at squirrels the other night while I was whitetail hunting and missed probably 6 but they were close misses. I told myself that I knew Id be ok if a deer came in cause I was missing so close with the squirrels and my arrows were flying so good! I was too. Killed me a deer that very night!
