As we all know deer hunting can be very rewarding, but is a lot of hard work. Very impressive she did it all herself. Congrats to her!

Congrats to your wife ,what a pleasure it must be to share your passion with her.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Hi Everyone, this is Rachel.

Bradley told me about this thread and I just wanted to take the time to come on here and thank you all for the kind words! I've shot quite a few deer with the compound but its not the same. This has been a journey for me that means more than I can put into words, which I'm sure that most of you guys who have been doing this for awhile can understand. Thank you all again, I really appreciate it.

Ok, Rachel must be Mrs. Trad Gang for 2012!! 3rd deer, a buck, tracked it with a dog, gutted it and hung it in the barn. She's got my vote. Way to go lady! And way to go Brad for introducing your wife to archery.
