im looking at a texas recurve comanche 70#@27" just wondering if any has a texas recurve or has dealt with them if so how is the performance with the static limb design

Breakfast Boy

They are a really neat looking bow.  I had one that was 59# @ 28", but traded it to my dad a year ago.  Personally, I thought it stacked quite a bit and I didn't like shooting it as much as my longer bows, but that might have been just me.  That 70# might stack quite a bit.  Hopefully someone else here will have more input.

70@27<<< is that 8th dwarfs bow because I know he shot those bows almost exclusively until he went to selfbows..  anyway really cool looking recurves and i'd love to find one around 50#,, not the fastest and I did hear they can stack if your expecting a longer draw even by a 1/2 inch sometimes but they where short bows too..

always made with texas mesquite I think and just a cool bow you don't see around anymore,, at 70lbs you won't have to worry about anything..
