My wife's been shooting them for years.  She likes 3 blade, and we really like these.  They fly good, and are fairly easy to sharpen.

Designed by my good friends Dene and Berry Winchel, you won't find a more versatile and effective broadhead.

That's funny right there Charlie! I don't care who ya are... If they see this, they're gonna laugh so hard, they'll fart.

They are very good. Only issue you might have are the tips bend and require snip and resharpen into diamond point.

I usually use two blade heads but the woodsman is legit. I especially like the elites.

If you are going this type of broadheads I would go with the VPA heads. Same similer design only a stronger tip and over all head.

I'll agree that the machined versions: VPA, Elite, Trailmaker, are stronger heads, the original Woodsman is just as good as it ever was and is a very fine head that you can have full confidence in.  I do recommend filing the needle point to a shorter profile.
Good judgement comes from experience.  Experience comes from bad judgement.

Great heads, been using them for years.  The Woodsman   Elite is a superior broadhead though in my opinion.  Much tighter tolerances, better point, and truer edges than the originals.

The original Woodsman was a good head too, but I had to do a lot of work with a file to get the edges straight and true, then nock down the needle point.  The newer Elite version is pretty sharp right out of the package, just a touch up on the stones was all I had to do.

The one and only deer I've shot with trad was with a WW. I'm still impressed by the blood trail it left. This year I'm shooting a heavier bow so I need more weight or I would probably shoot WW again.

I'm a little upset, last year I lost one of my old woodsman heads after I shot a doe the arrow bounced off a rock and into no mans land.  Spent days looking for that arrow.  That head went through six critters and was still going strong until that mishap.

Season starts Saturday. I'll let you know Sat night. lol

I have no problem using the original WW with the needle point removed.

Sure there are stronger heads today, but I ask the Lord every night to grant me the opportunity to kill just a SMALL amount of the animals that they, and the obsolete old Bear Razorheads for that matter, have killed.

Just a SMALL amount Lord ..... PLEASE!

I shot a nice 6 pt Mon nite with one(150 grn).  I left the needle pt on and it went thru the ribs and lower front shoulder on a quartering away shot.  10 yard shot- double lung-  30 yard recovery.  Worked well.

Awesome head period.  File the needle point down and it won't curl.  Very few heads left you can pick up a half dozen for $35.  Keeps me coming back year after year, especially with ease of sharpening.  Hope the NEVER stop making the original, LOVE it!!

They're all ive used the last 7 or 8 years.  I shot 2 bears this year with the same head.
