on your broadheads ???  I'm trying some new ones this year since Magnus is not making the ones I've been shootin for the past 15 - 20 years. I'll have to put an edge on as they do not come sharp outta the package. My " lil shaver " gives me the option for 22 1/2, 25, or 28 degree bevel. The accu sharp is at 17 1/2 degree, this the one i like for it's cutting qualities. Curious, what angle do you like ?????????   Jerry

Well, back in the ol days when the Ashby reports were fresh in everyone's minds, a 28 degree sharpening angle would have complimented the 25 degree single bevel on my Grizzly BH.

The same would still stand true today.
Silence over speed.  Heavier arrows never hurt.

Thundervalley is makiing the magnuus heads.  I think they even call them that.  Just type Thunderhorn archery into your search engine.  God Bless

Thanks for the heads up Forester. The Magnus always flew for me and they were the easiest to sharpen. Will contact Thunderhorn today   Jerry

Just got off of their site, it is Thunder Valley Archery. Still lookin for opinions on sharpening angles.     Jerry

Remember. .  when sharpening a two bevel head, the actual angle you get is twice what you are quoting.  Anything in the 20 to 25 degree realm works great for me.  If the metal is hard, you can go a little under that.
