For those of you that eat breakfast before you go in the woods what is your favorite quick and easy things to eat?

David McLendon

Waffle House scrambled with cheese plate, raison toast, hash browns scattered and smothered and country ham.
Lefties are the only ones who hold the bow in the right hand.

Kamm1004

pre made breakfast burritos, prefferaby with elk/deer/antelope sausage. Mmm Mmm good!
easy to warm up on the stove or fire if wrapped in tin foil
Now then, get your weapons, your quiver and your bow and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.- Genesis 27:3

Clif bar is what i eat each and every morning. It is loaded with protein and healthy carbs to keep you going no matter what your doing.

After the DIY elk thread I have come to love peanut butter, bacon, tortillas.
This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

Nothing! Hunting on an empty stomach makes you hunt harder, not sure if it works since I haven't gotten a deer in two years but its what the old guys I hunt with always say so I might as well keep it going ha ha.

Usually nothing, Cliff  bar or coffee if I eat anything.  I eat after the morning hunt.

Now after a duck hunt, breakfast burritos with a Bloody Mary, sitting on the porch watching the survivors dive bomb the bliwatt inking of the next morning

One thing I cannot have is coffee. I love it,but it will haunt me BAD as soon as I get out there. I like peanut butter on bread, cold glass of milk, and an apple to eat as I walk out.
Make certain your exhausted when you reach them Pearly Gates.

What ever you do,don't get the corned beef hash!

coffee for me, but I have to roll out pretty early to make sure I can take care of the business before I head out if you know what I mean? Hate getting dressed up and having to take it off just to get dressed again.

jimmerc

Deer steak, scrambled eggs(6),wheat toast and a stack of wheat pancakes with blueberrys or blackberrys,  This usually holds me for the first couple hrs or so then I have deer jerky, trail mix and protien bars to keep me going the rest of the hunt!   My body is trained to do business after dinner so that isn't a problem while hunting!!

Oatmeal or/and fresh fruit and cold milk.  Usually a bananna.  I eat light as I have long walks and heavy greasy food makes for an unwanted stop.  I pack granola bars, a candy bar and a couple sandwiches with a liter of water.  No coming out for me when I am in the big woods.

Close to home or farm hunting, biscuit from the local cardiac clogger.  God Bless
