Hello everyone, I'm new to the Gang and I have been bitten by the Traditional Archery Bug!

I have been looking a few Takedown Bows and need an honest opinion on which bow to purchase, I have been looking at a Martin Tracer and a Samick Sage, I know Martin is a respectable Company and I don't know a lot about Samick but every review I read, people seem to love theirs, they cost about the same, so money is not the factor, so my question to the Gang is this: which Bow would be the Better buy? Thanks!

Don't know either bow personally, but welcome!   :campfire:

Welcome aboard, afraid I can't  help you much as I don't either of the bows you mentioned but as far as Take Down factory bows I vote for the Bear B Riser   :D

Welcome from Texas, I would shoot one before you buy if you can. Good luck, have fun whatever you buy, traditional shooting is a blast!

Welcome to the gang. I agree with the post above suggesting you try to shoot one before making a decision.  You will enjoy trad.

Welcome from Vermont!  I have shot the samick but not the martin, samick shot pretty well.  Echoed from above, shoot them first if you can.  Or better yet, find someone on here that lives near you and has a rack full of bows they will let you shoot!  That will give you a better idea of the style of bow you like the most.  If your search for bows hasn't taken you to the TG Classified page, you might want to check it out.
That's why they call it hunting....
