As most of you know, from a recent post of mine, my father has been critically ill for some time, cancelled my bear hunt to Hunters Point next week, to stay home and spend time with him while he was still here. Dad passsed away peacefully early this morning, ending several years of struggling with several diseases, all life threatening each one by themselves. The various illness had taken a terrible toll on his mental faculty's the last year, and made taking care of him and often dealing with him harder. I want to thank you all for your kind words, prayers and help, especially you Bill Carlsen. You guys are like a second family, as I have no siblings. Terry you and I had spoken via PM's briefly once or twice, about your fathers health and issues, man if you ever need anyone to talk to about this, I am a phone call a way. It is awful to see someone you love so much, not be able to remember key parts of our lives together, to get angry when you work hard to take care of them, for no reason, as reason doesnt apply. I am so thankful that Dad doesnt have to suffer any more, and that he passed peacefully in his sleep. Keep us in your prayers and thoughts guys, faith makes everything possible, but not often easy. I love you guys.

Headed to my family reunion as I type this. Will make me stop, think, and treasure the time we spend today even more. We will pray for healing for you today, so sorry for your loss. As time passes and the wound heals think about the good times you spent with your Dad. Been 3 years now since the loss of my father-in-law and as painful as it was then I think of him often and it is always the good things and the good times that come flooding back. He was the one who taught me how to deer hunt and what good memories those are. What a ride it was !!! God Bless you Today Sam !!!
