Hey fellow trad-gang members...anyone out there purchased and/or shot the protege longbow that's made by Lee Robinson ? I was curious about the performance and wanted some feedback...was it quick ? was it quiet ? was it smooth ? etc. I was thinking about having Lee make me one and I thought that a very satisfied customer would be his best advertisement to win me over. Thanks

Steve, since you have received 0 responses to your question may I suggest that you contact Lee and get a list of customers who have purchased that particular longbow along with their e-mail addresses and e-mail them with your question. Personally, I have known Lee for more than 10 years and can tell you that Lee is very meticulous in everything that he does, and though I have never shot one of his bows, it is my general opinion that they are great looking and great shooting bows.

I know nothing of his bows, but his tutorial on youtube about string making is priceless
