It seems like Fred Bear used to say 10gpi might have been 9 but I'd think they should work fine.

I'm a hair over 11gpp and it works well, but I don't believe that is necessary and I don't think that statistic is useful unless you define a minimum bow poundage.

A 25# kids bow is not suitable even with a 300 grain arrow (12 gpp).
