After looking for the Bohning Classic Nock for the 1916 Legacy on 3 Rivers site.. it does not appear that its available in 9/32"..is this right? And if so.. what choices do I have for this arrow?

Bowboy_AR

i cut the nock end off and put in a bushing for the "x" nock... works great!

I use 5/16 on my 1916's. I get a better feel with the slightly larger nock. The fit is perfect.

I was hoping someone would say that. My Arizona 9/32 that I have for my 1916 Blues arrows are too small, terrible fit.

The Arizona Z nock does have a small throat. For a 9/32" I like American/BJ nocks, they have a larger throat and fit my strings great.

JamesKerr

I would use the Arizona Z nock.

Another good option, is the 9/32"s Marco Snap Nock.  I recently had the same challenge.

i got them Mike at the Nocking Point.  They work well and have a nice fit.

Nocking Point is a sponsor here as well.

Jon Stewart

use a 9/32 speed nock unless you need the nock to snap on to your string.

DennyK

I use the Arizona 5/16 nock or a Legend 5/16 on my 1918's-works great.

Kustom King has some Traditional classic nocks that were bearpaw brand and the 5/16 I use on my 1916 and they fit like a glove..No slop and you can get the Barred color in Red,green, grey for a $1.50 a dz.....I have the green and grey ones and they have a swirl mix of blackish color to them and the green are like olive drab and they are my favorite nock on my 1916's...

It's all about your serving are you using a 12 ,14 or 16 strand string? Get your hands on as many different 9/32 and 5/16 and see what works for you. Thats what i have done. It worked for me.

I like the Bear Paw nocks also Keefer. Not as tight as a Snap-on and they come off the shaft in the same line as the shaft. Really a nice fit!
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Just was putting some together. I like the way the Bohning classic fits in 5/16. Also the snap nocks in 5/16 work well. I have the Z nocks in 9/32. They leave a small amount of the tapper visable. Any way I like the classic the best. But all 3 will work.

I use Marco Nocks for my 1916's, you can get them from Black Widow

I like the Marco nocks also in either 9/32" or 5/16". 3Rivers sells them in 5/16", and Black Widow has both.
If it's in your way, move it.

A Bohning Classic 5/16th or Mercury and some blue finish cutting 120 grit sand paper.  Gently sand them to shorten them up and they fit 1918s with no excess overlap past the shaft.  I take  the edge back a bit on the outside as well.  It takes just a few strokes.
