Just a friendly reminder as the new seasons arrive....be careful with those broadheads guys and gals.  I had a minor "slip" and ended up with a trip to urgent care...luckily it could have been alot worse ...hopefully opening day will not have to wait    so just wanted to wish everyone best of luck and a safe season this year!  :archer2:

:coffee:  ...and another tip from someone who fell from a tree stand a few years ago.  Use the safety belt/harness going up AND coming down.

Hey Pete...I was out a couple weeks ago looking for hogs. Was working my way around the bank on a creek, stepping through some weeds and found out the bank wasn't underneath....fell in up to about mid thigh.  I happened to have an arrow in my hand with my bow and darn near cut my wrist!  I actually did cut it pretty good but luckily I just missed the important parts.  Pretty much  taught me a lesson.  I was by myself and it would have been pretty interesting had I started spurting blood out there!  I chalked it up to a rookie mistake, but will certainly be much more careful in the future.   :knothead:

Amen guys wear all safty gear and be very careful. Your family needs you alive and well.
Slow down and enjoy life.  It's not only the scenery you
miss by going too fast - you also miss the sense of where
you are going and why.

Safety harness, snakeboots, and keep those pointy sharp things pointed away from you. The older I get, the more I like ground blinds.Let's hope we do not hear of any serious accidents.

Get enough sleep people... When you are tired is when things like those stated above can happen... Your mind should be as sharp as your broadheads!
