I just received my grizzly broadheads, from Bill Dunn. There 130grain left hand bevel. I glued them on some bamboo arrows I got from Joe Neat. What a perfect combo,These babies fly like " bullets ".   I have a Zipper long Bow 60" and 44lbs @ 28. Also I have a Northern Mist whisper 64" and 53lbs @ 28.these are my go to bows, and these bamboo arrows fly perfect out of both set-ups. I just wanted to thank the members of tradgang and all of the venders, and how to threads for helping me become a better shot with traditional bows.  :clapper:  Thanks Don

What spine ( if you measured) ? I bought 45-50 spine for my 45# bow, and they didn't fly well.  :dunno:
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

I have some 35-40 spine that were shortened to 27" and they fly very straight. total finished arrow weight is 500 grains.

Same here, I shoot 27" arrows also. Would have thought they would be fine as I've always heard "spine weight" was almost inmaterial. Maybe I haven't played with them enough.

Bamboo is a tough shaft but one that requires meticulous setting up. Check your nocks for any variance, shafts for straightness, tips for wobble...It's much easier to setup a cedar shaft than a bamboo, if you don't pay attention to the little things, they add up in the end.
