Thanks guys for all the comments.  It really is funny how the more complicated we make things, the less enjoyment we usually get out of them.  I think that holds true for many aspects of life, not just archery.  I'm completely addicted to traditional archery now; I've already sold all my wheel bows and a few guns and have started to plan out my next custom bows.     There's just something so simple and satisfying about using traditional equipment.  All my friends laughed that I picked up a recurve, and now most of them are eating tag soup and I have meat in the freezer.

Way to go Cody!  I have 2 deer and a turkey under my belt since I started with the sticks.  This year I will hunt exclusively with the stickbow.  My hunting compounds are all stripped down and I've sold 3 of them with 4 more just hanging on the wall collecting dust.
